T-shirts
are here! I'm still working on a good way for you to order them online. For now,
send me an e-mail and we'll figure out what size,
style and color you want. Alison is wearing a medium women's cap sleeve T in chocolate.
(Yes, I know her head is cut off. It's not about the model, it's about the shirt.
But look at those teeth!) 9/29/06
Benefits and How you can help
October is turning out to be a big month for me to play at benefits for great
causes. All these groups do important things and I hope that you will attend events
or donate from afar. I'm planning to do fundraising work on a more consistent
basis, so this is kind of the big kick-off!
HAAM
Benefit Day - Oct 3 Austinites can support the Health Allaince for Austin
Musicians (they pay for my dental work!) by shopping and dining at supporting
businesses on Tuesday, October 3. For more info and a list of participants, go
to www.healthallianceforaustinmusicians.org
I'll be playing at the Airport at noon, so if you are flying in or out, buy an
extra coffee or taco because all the airport concessions are donating to HAAM! LIVESTRONG
Challenge - Oct 8 The famous yellow bracelets have made the Lance Armstrong
foundation one of the best known in the country. They raise tons of money to find
a cure for cancer and help survivors. Join the walk/run/ride and see me play at
the after-party along with Wideawake. www.livestrongchallenge.org Right
To Marry Benefit - Oct 14 Fun night of music at Ruta Maya supporting equal
rights for gays and lesbians. Wahoo!
AIDS
Walk Austin - Oct 15 I'm not playing at this one, I'm just a regular civilian
walker and fundraiser. I'd be so happy if you helped me meet my fundraising goal
by donating here:
Even $5 would be a big help! Hope
Alliance Benefit - Oct 29 Shake Russell and I play music for a fun family
event in Georgetown. The money goes to Hope Alliance (formerly Williamson Country
Crisis Center) which provides direct services to adult and child victims of domestic
violence, sexual assault, and violent crime. More info here: www.wccc.info 9/27/06

Ginn Sisters CD is OUT! Track 6, "Get It and Go," is the one Abi wrote.
Click the Album Cover to listen and read more. Also!
