Abi has some dreamy Dream Away shows, some road trips and lots of swimming planned. She'll also try to sit inside and write some songs. On the rainy days at least.

Abi is hitting the road this week and playing some fun shows around the country. The legendary Kerrville Folk Festival, The Indianapolis stop of The Country Throwdown Tour, some cozy living rooms, a church, and a furniture store. Hey, music happens everywhere! See the tour page for details.

The sap is flowing (is that what you call it?) in the New England maple trees, and Abi's creative juices are, too. Pretty soon she'll need to record all these new songs....

After a full weekend of shows in New England, Abi is in Nashville on a writing and listening binge. She's also not complaining about winter weather in the 40's.

Routine is nice, isn't it? Snow, rain, write, sing, drive, ski, run, type, knit, watch a movie -- over and over for a couple of months. I can handle that.

Abi is hunkering down, getting ready for snow and planning to write bunches of songs over these cold Berkshire winter months. A little cross country skiing, a couple trips to Nashville, and some really fun shows up and down the east coast are on the calendar, too....

Folks in the Hudson Valley and Berkshires (or anywhere via the internet) can hear Abi on the awesome KZE 98.1 Monday Morning June 15 at 9am. Then come out to her Club Helsinki debut at 7pm that night!

Trinidad, a beautiful and moving documentary about Trinidad, CO that contains a couple of songs by Abi wil air on Showtime this month. See the schedule of airings here. Or watch it on Showtime On Demand all June.

Abi is raking and pulling weeds and planting seeds and hoping they can fend for themselves while she is away. April will finish with shows in Ann Arbor, Portland, Tacoma, and Bellingham. All are new cities for Abi, tell your friends!

Abi is headed back from her old home to her new home, via an older home. It's all very confusing, and that's probably why her car feels so homey.
 
The point: Midwest shows this weekend, New England later this month. Spring hasn't felt this good in a while.

Abi was selected as a favorite by the audience at The Falcon Ridge Folk Festival ! She will return for the 2009 Most Wanted Song Swap, along with Amy Speace , Blue Moose and the Unbuttoned Zippers and Lucy Wainwright Roche. The festival will be help July 23-26 near Hillsdale, NY.

The Beauty in Ruin is getting airplay and ink all over Europe these days. We're still working on some translations, but there are a few new reviews posted on the Press page. Check out what they think of Abi across the pond.
